## Abstract Aging enhances apoptosis of hepatocytes under normal physiological conditions and increases the susceptibility to apoptosis of hepatocytes, whereas chronic calorie restriction (CR) suppresses the age‐enhanced susceptibility to apoptosis. To clarify the subcellular mechanisms of age‐asso
