β¦ Synopsis
J.S.Lee, L.E.Miller, Artech, 1998, 1242 pages
This text aims to strengthen the reader's knowledge of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) technology and build an understanding of the technical details and engineering design principles behind the IS-95 digital cellular system standard. It contains nearly 2000 equations and aims to teach techniques to help assess system modulation and convolutional code performance; optimize cellular system and Erlang capacity; design PN code generators for spread-spectrum applications; use masks to control PN code phase offsets for CDMA cells; and control CDMA forward link power allocation to help maximize system capacity.

This book was not intended as a communication theory text, but it does a great job of providing the basic results in an organized fashion. It serves as a good reference for me for CDMA related issues, or channel models and fading/diversity analysis. Definitely recommend the book if you can find one
