✦ Synopsis

CDCC wave function was used to study energy dependence of the 118 Sn(d, p) cross sections well below Coulomb barrier. Cross section of deuteron break up followed by a neutron absorption is larger and has moderate energy dependence compared with that of direct reaction approach. Binding energy dependence is studied by introducing virtual deuterons.
