β¦ Synopsis
term 'hydroxy-phlorin' is used for the designation of the product in order to distinguish it from normal phlorin and isoporphyrin.) Although the hydroxy-phlorin was stable for near-infrared light, it was isomaiized by visible-light irradiation under anaerobic conditions. The wavelength selective photoreaction is suitable for the design of a material which will have photo-responsibility for the writing visible light and photo-stability for the readout near-infrared light.
In a similar manner, cationic gold porphyrins formed hydroxy-phlorins. The hydroxy-phlorins fixed in an anionic polymer matrix were also photo-responsible to visible light irradiation.

In this contribution, we report density functional theory calculations on the transition metal complex (Ξ· 5 -C 5 H 5 )Fe(CO) 2 Cl and its fragments in differently charged states (anionic, neutral, cationic). The results are compared to literature data. The work is motivated by the long-term objectiv
## Abstract The chromoionophoric behaviour of compound 1 in solution was studied in relation to the Xβray structure of its complexes with Na^+^, Ba^2+^ and Ag^+^. Interaction between the metal ion and the βsoftβ nitrogen atom, which forms part of the aza crown ether of 1, is concluded to be of cruc
Monensin A benzyl ester (MON3) was synthesized and its ability to form complexes with Li + , Na + and K + cations was studied by ESI MS, 1 H and 13 C NMR, FT-IR and PM5 semiempirical methods. MON3 has been found to preferentially form complex with Na + cations. The formation of stable complexes of 1
