Hs~Ezhou 310027, P. R. China The effects of cation substitutions and oxygen content on stmerconductivity in Bi-tmsed 2212 and 2223 mhases have been studied. The experimental results show that the transition temperature can be chsnged either by the variation of the O~ hole concentration or by the removal of the Cu dK~ level electrons. We put en~is on the electron correlation between O~ holes and Cu d electrons, rather than the O~ holes and Cu d electrons themselves.
