Twelve years ago, I Chloe Williams lost my best and only friend. He vanished from my life and I was devastated. Before… I had a wretched life, but he made it bearable. He was the one to always catch my tears. After… I simple gave up on love and friendship. Hell, I even gave up on talking. What sense does it make anyway, if no one is listening? Just as I begin to make my own life, seeking quiet solitude in my late aunt’s house, I meet my new and hot neighbour, who’s daily chores seems to build a deck and going swimming in the lake - naked. I want to stay away from him, but he literally throws himself at me and my chosen silence. Forgotten feelings start to emerge, lost memories surface and something new grows in me - desire. And with all of this I ask myself: Can I accept the friendship he offers, even knowing he’s hiding something from me? Could possible one of us break the other’s silence? And the scariest of all; should I let myself lose my heart to the one guy who can tear it into million pieces?
