report (Chem. Commun., (1992) 90) the remarkable transformation of ZSM-5 into ZSM-11 by simply exposing the former to 4.0 GPa of pressure for 15 minutes. ZSM-5 (prepared with atemplate) was heated to 200°C to remove adsorbed water and then subjected to the pressures indicated. They present XRD.and TGA evidence for the complete and irreversible conversion of ZSM-5 to ZSM-11.
