Axens to supply technology to Belarus

Axens will provide Prime-G+ gasoline desulfurization and C 5 /C 6 alkane isomerisation processes to Belarus' Mozyr Oil Refinery. The combined technologies are expected to allow the refinery to yield low sulfur, high octane gasoline that complies with Euro IV specifications. The 300,000 tonne/y isomerisation unit will be used to considerably boost gasoline octane while the 1.1 M tonne/y Prime-G+ unit will bring in ultra-low sulfur FCC gasoline.
