β¦ Synopsis
A new kinetic fluorimetric method is proposed for the determination of trace cobalt, based on the catalytic oxidation of reduced fluoresceine with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of triethanolamine as activator in a basic medium. The detection limit for cobalt is 0.016 ng/ml and the linear range of the determination is 0.08-1.40 ng/ml. The application of this method to the determination of trace cobalt in vitamin B 12 samples shows satisfactory results.

## Abstract A novel inhibitory kinetic fluorimetric method for the determination of trace methomyl was proposed. It was shown that the Fenton reagent oxidized rhodamine B in acid medium which enabled the fluorescence quenching of the latter. The presence of trace methomyl clearly inhibited the reac
