✦ Synopsis

This study attempts to predict the gasification behaviour of low rank coals from their properties, particularly from their content of catalytically active elements. A low rank coal (lignite) was deashed and then impregnated with catalytically active elements, and its gasification behaviour was compared with the gasification behaviour of the same lignite befqre deashing.
