Catalytic epoxidation of two unfunctionalized alkenes, 1,2\_dihydronaphthalene and tranx-e-methylstyrene, is reported using achiral and chirol (Salen)Mn(III) complexes l-3 together with a nitrogen heterocycle as axial ligand in the presence of 30 %I aqueous hydrogen peroxide as oxidant. ## Abstract In this report we demonstrate the suitability of hyperbranched polyglycerol as highβloading support for asymmetric catalysis. A polyglycerolβsupported unsymmetrical salen ligand was prepared and purified by means of ultrafiltration. The polymeric ligand was metalated with cobalt acetate
