✦ Synopsis

Symmetrical functionalized biaryls and biheterocycles could be obtained in good yield via homocoupling of aryl halides by using Pd(OAc)2 as catalyst with base and isopropanol. This alternative of the UIImann reaction has proved to be compatible with sensitive functional groups.
