Abstract

The recommended treatment duration of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) in patients infected with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is 48 weeks. This report describes a patient co‐infected with HCV genotype 2 and HIV who discontinued HCV therapy after 6 weeks because of adverse events and had a sustained virologic response. J. Med.
