## Abstract Forty‐seven rats were cannulated permanently in either the globus pallidus or neostriatum and subsequently injected with carbachol, scopolamine, or carbachol plus scopolamine. The injection of carbachol (1 μg) into the globus pallidus produced transient hyperkinetic phasic dyskinesias (
