✦ Synopsis
We prove the existence of a Carathéodory selection for a set-valued mapping satisfying standard conditions. Also, an application to random fixed point for random operators is established.

The purpose of the present paper is to derive some sufficient conditions for Carathéodory functions in the open unit disk by using Miller and Mocanu's lemma. Several special cases are considered as the corollaries of main results.
Some existence theorems of continuous selections for multivalued mappings with closed convex images are proved. As some simple applications, we give some results on fixed points and differential inclusions. The results presented in this paper generalize some recent results.
In an R-tree we consider multivalued mappings with convex values and develop fixed point, selection, and best approximation theorems for nonexpansive and almost lower semicontinuous mappings.
