What do caramel, cupcakes, and an explosion have in common? Murder.

Baking duo Ruby and Bee are excited to be a part of the Spring Caramel Festival in Bourbon, Kentucky—especially since they've been invited to host their own food stall. It's the perfect time to eat cupcakes, meet local customers, and enjoy the fresh spring air.

Until the owner of the new caramel factory is found dead.

It's murder. And everyone in town wanted the victim out of the way.

With too many suspects, a sticky explosion at the factory to deal with, and the start of what looks to be a "caramel war" in this once peaceful town, Ruby and Bee have their work cut out for them.
