✦ Synopsis

Abstract

The analysis of triglycerides on FSOT columns coated with a phenylmethylsilicone gum opens up new perspectives in fat and oil characterization. On phenylmethylsilicone, besides a “carbon number” or CN separation, the triglycerides are also separated according to the different combinations of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids in the triglycerides.
