## Abstract In this paper, we study the average symbol error rate (SER) for a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) maximal ratio combining (MRC) system with Rayleigh fading desired signal in the presence of non‐Rayleigh fading co‐channel interferers (CCIs) and additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN).
