I n response to the relative explosion of important clinical, therapeu- tic, and basic science advances in the field of oncology, Cancer is now introducing a new format for a limited number of manuscripts that will be published under the heading of Accelerated Publication. These manuscripts must be concise presentations of timely and significant data regarding advances in areas of cancer such as: etiology, diagnosis, markers, molecular oncology, therapeutics, and clinical trials. The anticipated review time is within 3 weeks from receipt. A manuscript accepted as an Accelerated Publication will then be scheduled for
