โœฆ Synopsis

Cambridge Practice Tests for First Certificate 1 contains four complete practice tests for the new-format Cambridge First Certificate Examination, due to be introduced in December 1996. Written by experienced test authors with in-depth knowledge of the FCE and its revisions, these practice tests follow precisely the specifications of the new syllabus. An introductory section in the Student's Book and Teacher's Book gives explanations of the new format of each of the five FCE papers. The material on the cassettes is presented in the same timed format that students will meet in the exam itself. A self-study edition of the Student's Book (with additional notes for students working partly or entirely on their own) is available. These practice tests have been pre-tested by students in a variety of countries, thus making them the most accurate pre-exam practice possible.
