Gyro cahbratlon IS a complex task, mamly because of the d&&y of managmg angular velocity standards Thus IS especmlly true 'm field' and therefore low-cost sensors cannot to be used m &$-accuracy apphcabons This paper presents a cabbratlon process that does not reqmre rotatmg tables or other velocity standards The cahbratlon 1s carried out makmg reference O&J to geometrlcal quantltla and usmg the A/D conversIon system and the computmg system normally connected to the gyro The cahbration can be completed m a few mmutes, and results m a notlceable unprovement m accuracy
