## Abstract This paper explores the potential for documenting regional fields of surface energy fluxes over the Tibetan plateau using published algorithms and previously calibrated empirical formulae with data from NOAA‐14 AVHRR and atmospheric data collected during the GAME‐Tibet field experiment.
