✦ Synopsis

This letter presents an alternati¨e technique for calibrating one-path network analyzers. The technique reduces cost, but retains accuracy when compared with the existing one. Experimental results not only ¨alidate this technique, but also indicate that a simplified calibration for transmission measurement is normally acceptable.
