This workshop will focus on research frontiers pertaining to aromatically and tetrahedrally bonded carbon materials for applications in energy, environmental, electrochemical, electrical, nuclear, medical, and structural arenas. The interdisciplinary workshop will draw participants from numerous fields including carbon scientists, chemical engineers, environmental engineers, materials scientists, chemists, physicists, manufacturers, small business owners, economists, health and safety specialists, and sustainability planners. The workshop will include both oral and poster presentations, and presenters are encouraged to present both current research and development and also research and development needs.
