โœฆ Synopsis


The effect of medium dielectric inhomogeneity on the solvent reorganization energy in charge transfer processes is investigated for the model describing reactants as two dielectric spheres. It is shown that this effect is of the order of 16% for the contact position of the reactants and decreases when the inter-reactant distance increases.
