โฆ Synopsis
A formula has been employed whereby variations in the time and duration of solar beams on the wall of a building can be easily determined from a knowledge of the building's shape and arrangement and the sun's declination. On condition that a certain standard of sunshine level is reached, quantatitive relationships between the efficiency of land use and shape, size, height and arrangement of buildings are thus obtained. The efficiency of land use can be improved by choosing a short slabtype arrangement of buildings.
