The ionization thresholds Ic of solid benzene and toluene were deteimined at 90 K from photocmission yield qectra The vtiues are 7.58 eV and 7.28 eV for solid benzene and tcluene respectively. The corresponding band gps EC wcrc estimated 3s 5.9 eV and 5.7 eV.
