## Abstract Total photoyield spectroscopy (TPYS) is applied to characterize the surface electronic properties of pโ€ and nโ€type chemicalโ€vapourโ€deposited (111) homoepitaxial diamond films with hydrogen terminated (Hโ€terminated) surfaces. All experiments on Hโ€terminated high quality diamond show the
