Thick scales of calcium sulphate experienced on a Horizontal film e Lype evaporator of 1500 mx/day. opereting in the modern power station of TACOA, Venezuela, were easily removed without chemical or mechanical actions; keeping the plant in operation at more than 50% of its rated capacity.
