A simple CAD formula is obtained in this paper for the distributed capacitance of asymmetric stripline via synthetic asymptote. From the derived formula, the equivalent circuit is a fringe capacitor in parallel with an ideal parallel-plate capacitor. Compared with the numerical results, the average error is less than 1%.
