✦ Synopsis

Using the Maurcr Cartan structural equations of the Lie group SL(Z. R) it is shown that the auto-Eicklund transformations of solutions of the Sine Gordon, the Kortcwegpde Vries and the modified Kortcwcg de Vries equation can bc derived from the same Lie Hianchi transformation sending surfaces of constant negative curvature into surfaces of the same constant negative curvature.
