GenCorp to pursue global sealing opportunities

Gencorp announced last month that it intends to form a strategic alliance with Saiag SpA, an Italian joint stock company, and Tokai Kogyo, a Japanese corporation, to jointly pursue global opportunities and cooperate on various technologies for their automotive vehicle sealing businesses.

The alliance provides the framework for technical exchange and collaborative technical development efforts which may ultimately lead to additional agreements for production cooperation and joint ventures at various locations around the world.

GenCorp believes the alliance affords an excellent means of geographical extension for its vehicle sealing business.
