โฆ Synopsis
Selective polymerization of 1-butene in C 4 fractions has been investigated using a supported Ziegle~Natta catalyst. Catalytic activity depends on the pre-treatment of the C 4 cut as well as on the composition. Isobutene retards the polymerization. Tacticity of the polymers can be influenced by ethyl benzoate.
