ElringKlinger receives MAN Trucknology Award

E lringKlinger AG has received The MAN Commercial Vehicle Group's Trucknology Supplier Award for 2009.

The company was chosen by the MAN jury from a group of several hundred competitors. The criteria applied to the selection process were quality, cost awareness, faultless logistics and technical expertise. The truck producer presents the award each year to its top ten business partners in recognition of outstanding collaboration.

Karl Schmauder, a member of ElringKlinger's management board, accepted the award on behalf of the company at the official ceremony held at Schloss Hauser in Munich, Germany.

He said: 'Recognising our extremely close, long-standing business relations, this award bears testimony to the trust placed in our company. It is a tribute to the expertise and commitment of our employees, on whose behalf I have the pleasure of accepting this prize.'

ElringKlinger primarily supplies MAN with cylinder-head gaskets and plastic housing modules, but it also provides the firm with speciality gaskets and shielding components.
