## Background: Bullous pemphigoid (bp) often provokes blood and tissue eosinophilia, which suggests that some chemoattractants modulate the eosinophil infiltration in bp. eotaxin, a cc chemokine, strongly attracts eosinophils, and interleukin (il)-5 induces eosinophil differentiation, proliferation
