โœฆ Synopsis

In treating a patient with multi-infarct dementia and concurrent bulimic behavior, the authors questioned whether there might be an association between frontal lobe lesions and abnormal eating patterns. An extensive review of the animal and clinical literature revealed supporting evidence. In this paper, the case is described, the literature presented, and the basis for a causal relationship between frontal lobe pathology and an eating disorder detailed.
