This book is the fourth in the new modeling series by Verlinden Productions. The main focus of this book is the delicate art of diorama composition, construction, and painting. Five magnificent dioramas created by VP Studios cover every stage in the complicated development of these pieces, in a very easy to follow step-by-step process. Every aspect is covered, from dealing with multiple levels, multiple angles, modeling water, distribution of the various elements, blending colors, foliage, ground debris, focal points, etc. Nothing has been overlooked in this compact and comprehensive book. Two bonus articles showcase the work of two very accomplished modelers, Young Jin Won, and Greg Chilar. The former, renowned for his figure painting skills, accomplishes a difficult feat by composing a Vietnam diorama comprising of only figures, numbering some 14 in all.
