β¦ Synopsis
funding became available to build a new UK National Standard for oil and multiphase flow measurement. The "James Young' building to house the standards was completed in May 1991 and installation and commissioning of the standards is presently underway with completion of the various facilities expected between summer 1992 and early 1993. The specification and design of the standards, particularly the multiphase flow standard, have'provided an interesting challenge, as will be described.
