Abstract
An intelligent community spaces architecture (COMNet), which supports the activation of communities through the application of P2P network technology, is proposed. COMNet can form network communities without requiring a broker. We call this a broker‐less model. In this paper, we propose a distributed trust‐control technology as one of the component groups of COMNet. This technology is important to the formation of reliable network communities. We propose a few trust algorithms and two types of reputation algorithm using information from other entities as elements of distributed trust‐control technology. Copyright © 2004 AEI
