Malcolm Baldwin has his heart set on one thing. Joining the South Jersey Gay Men's Choir. He's loved to sing ever since he could remember. The only thing standing in his way is a heart disorder which has gotten worse. He's struggled his whole life with a condition that saps his stamina, and until now he's accepted the hand he was dealt.

He works from home designing websites and shares an apartment with his pregnant sister Sarah. Malcolm has put his own life on hold so he can support his sister in her time of need. Being single hasn't bothered him until he meets Devon when he takes Sarah to the hospital. The attractive, outgoing nurse practitioner reminds Malcolm not to sacrifice his own health because of the responsibility he's taking on.

Devon's positive encouraging nature gives Malcolm hope. But will this just be another in a long line of disappointments?
