## Abstract Using the transfer matrix method approach (TMM), the present paper attempts to determine the transmission properties of generalized quasi‐periodic (GQP) photonic systems. In addition, it studies hybrid periodic photonic/generalized quasi‐periodic photonic (PP/GQP) multilayer structures
