To transfer the yellow flower colour of R. foetida to Hybrid Tea roses, FI'S and backcrosses with Hybrid Tea's were produced. In BI populations, yellow, recurrent flowering seedlings occurred. Recurrent flowering was controlled by one recessive gene.
