BP Chemicals hosts valve emissions forum

BP Chemicals is bringing together valve makers and users at a valve emi~ions forum at its Technology and Engineering Department in Sunbury, UIC A number of representatives from IIK chemical, petrochemical and oil and gas companies have been invited to attend the meeting, along with representatives of the UK's valve suppliers.

The one-day forum (May 19th) will open with a presentation on BP Chemicals' commitment to reduce emissions which will include information on in-field experience and results of testing at the Sunbury site.

The European Sealing Association will make a brief presentation on its fugitive emssions work before an informal open discussion to share experience on valve emissions and associated matters.
