โฆ Synopsis
The results of measurements ofB Kct X-ray emission spectra of YSrBaCu2.sBo.5Ox (as prepared and after high oxygen pressure treatment) are presented. The data indicate that the boron atoms form B-O bonds which are similar to those observed in B203 and FeBO3. It is concluded that the boron atoms substitute at the "chain" Cu sites in the Y 123 structure and form B-O bonds typical for isolated BO]-groups.
