β¦ Synopsis
of the unit can be selected so that only pressure drops or surges greater than a preset minimum are recorded; this minimum can be set at between 10 and 400 mbar.
Advanced data compression allows up to two million readings to be stored by TAS, representing 48 hours continuous sampling at 10 samples/set.
Once testing is complete, data is downloaded onto a PC via an RS232C interface. TAS software allows for tabular, gra phical display in a Windows environment.
TAS is self contained, portable and housed in a ruggedised IP68 cast aluminium enclosure: total weight is 3.6 kg. The unit is submersible and powered by a built-in replaceable battery with a life expectancy of five years in normal operation.
