✦ Synopsis
composite materials have been produced using the ball milling technique for mixing nanotubes into various matrix materials. Ball milling treatment can also modify nanotube structures and creates more access windows and active sites along nanotube walls. These new applications of high-energy ball milling show that the technique is continuously developing. It is understandable that it is difficult for one book to include all the research results of such a fast-developing technique.
In summary, this book is an excellent encyclopedia of mechanical alloying and milling covering every aspect of research in the past century. Although exciting new research is missing, it is definitively one of the best books on mechanical alloying. I like having it in my office as a reference book, and I also strongly recommend it to my students.
