Windows version of MIM has many advantages in its pull-down menus and superior graphics, many readers may still find the DOS version of the MIM program will be more convenient than the Windows version. For example, command recall is available in the DOS but not the Windows version (and there is no cut and paste facility either). For error-prone typists, this can be a headache. In production mode, the short one-letter variable names will be troublesome to those who have a number of projects in different stages of analysis with time lags between the stages of analysis.
