## Abstract ## BACKGROUND: Obese patients are thought to be at higher risk of postoperative medical complications. We determined whether body mass index (BMI) is associated with postoperative in‐hospital noncardiac complications following urgent hip fracture repair. ## METHODS: We conducted a po
