Charles, Lauren, Ron, Lisa and Danny are still trying to get their lives back together after the events they endured in Written In Stone. But the traumatic events still haunt all of them. When Ron and Lisa meet wealthy businessman and time traveler Steve Weston, he convinces them he needs their expertise to help create new ways to protect military personnel. Ron and Lisa convince Charles, Lauren and Danny they should meet Steve. But Charles is concerned - there is evidence someone is stealing his time travel secrets. When Charles finds proof that Steve is using his technology he tells Lauren and Danny and they decide to find out what he is really doing. Against their better judgement they find themselves traveling back in time again where they uncover a disturbing truth which leaves them stranded 70 million years in the past. As they try and save themselves they realize their only hope is to save Charles, so he can alter history and save them all. - back cover.
