## Abstract Excellent in vivo thromboresistance has been obtained for FEP Teflon and for a polyether urethane prepared with electronegative surfaces using the electret effect. In vitro tissue culture studies have shown a marked improvement in tissue compatibility for negatively electrified Teflon.
